After studying Biology and Bioengineering in top schools in France and Switzerland, Adèle developped a new in vitro high-throughtput methods for directed evolution of enzymes during her PhD between Tokyo and Paris. She then got familiarized with the therapeutic approach and eucaryotic proteins during a 2-year postdoc at the Vision Institute before founding PURPL-Research.

After studying applied physics and electrical engineering in France, Rémi decided to add some microbiology and molecular biology to his background before starting his PhD in enzyme engineering. He developed a new in vitro high-throughput hydrogel-based directed evolution platform. He is now pursuing his carreer as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institut Pasteur where he applies the same kind of process to new enzymes.
